Minor: None

Residence: Dorm

Occupation: None

Appearance:
Like any vain person, Luke puts a lot of effort into his looks. In fact, one could say it’s one of the very few things he does put any effort into. His hair, particularly, is particularly well taken. It’s a sunset red color and long, bordering on the edge of too long, but Luke won’t hear anything about that. Close to the ends the red mixes into orange and becomes a fire-yellow at the very end, a very meticulously done dye-job. He’s kept the ends jagged and uneven – his bangs are handled the same way, giving an almost messy appearance. On multiple occasions, his hair’s been likened to a flickering flame. Likely, though, Evergrove will have him bitching about his hair and the work to maintain it now that he’ll be lacking a personal servant.

Also, well... Eighteen or not, the kid’s got abs and his attire is usually bare enough the world can see his hard work. That is likely more than just a little intentional, of course. Luke’s got a pair of green eyes that have the unfortunate habit of expressing every flicker of emotion he may have absolutely scratching lying off of his to-do list. His eyebrows are kept up, thin and elegantly arched. He’s not especially tall, only 5’7”, but Luke has made sure he makes up for anything he may or may not be lacking. Meticulously, he keeps up with appearance, even down to a tan and his fingernails. He’s known most often for outfits that leave his midsection and chest bare and for the world to see.

No, Luke does not take well to working and getting dirty. No, he doesn’t even want his SHOES dirty.

Personality:
Luke is a spoiled brat. He’s an absolute little monster; snappy and hot-tempered and demanding his way with absolutely everything. When he’s not bitching, he’s being apathetic or confused. The entirety of his life that he can remember, he’s been locked in the manor, what has become his cage. It didn’t take long before the only thing he wanted was freedom and over and over again, he was denied. So why, exactly, should he care what anyone else wants? It’s not fair if he couldn’t have the one thing he wanted, that all of these people can have it and take it so easily for granted...

He doesn’t care about anyone else and he’s got away with it perfectly fine. If he stormed out on his tutors, there were no more lessons for the day. If he snapped at his father, his mother would remind her husband that Luke was still traumatized. With this, came his inability to take being scolded, not gracefully at least... not that anyone scolds Luke. Not a single soul in the manor would dream of it. Guy’s his friend, but he’s also Luke’s personal servant – reprimanding Luke isn’t entailed in his job.

Everyone in the manor puts up with him because it’s their job. His father avoids him. His mother treats him like he’s made of glass. There is a distinct lack of love, a lack of approval, that’s left Luke somewhat affection-starved and yet equally awkward with the very idea.

Unfortunately, along with being locked in the manor came an oblivious nature for the world around him, even with things that are common to other people. Even ridiculous little things like how to do laundry or prepare a meal, much less do grocery shopping... it’s all foreign to Luke. It’s all things he used to depend on other people for until now. Easily, Evergrove will be a vast learning experience for him.

History:
Luke fon Fabre was born the only son of the wealthy Fabre family. Quite unfortunately, he can’t tell you a single thing about the first ten years of his life – nothing he remembers, anyway. At the tender age of ten, Luke was kidnapped, spirited away without a trace and he was returned, as well, still with no hints of the criminal despite the police officers’ best attempts. It would have been an absolute miracle, if it hadn’t been for the fact that Luke was returned without a single memory of his life. He couldn’t speak, walk, think, and ever since he’s been having weird headaches... he was just a blank sheet of paper.

“Traumatized,” the doctors said, though they had been confident Luke would remember himself given time. The very place his parents sought for answers... left them terrified for what would become their son. From that day forward, young Luke wasn’t allowed to leave the manor anymore. He grew up again, learned the faces and names of his parents, though after the incident his father grew strangely distant to him. Various doctors, counselors, and anyone in between tried to revive young Luke’s lost memory, but all of the attempts failed. It did nothing for figuring who he was. As soon as he could write again, the doctors had him take to keeping a diary so just in case he ever forgot his life again, he’d have it written down.

Not that there was anything to forget.

It was BORING. The most excitement of his days, were the few days he could get in a little sword practice with Master Van. In fact, his entire world revolved around the days that Master Van would show up. That... and his personal servant, Guy, was really his only friend. Guy was his link to the outside world. Guy and Master Van were everything that mattered at the manor. His protective parents even pulled him out of school and hired personal tutors for him. It was a miracle he got to keep his lessons with Master Van, though that was likely only because his father knew the man by then and Master Van was willing to give the lessons at the manor. Truthfully, Luke wasn’t as interested in his sword skills as he was about getting to show off what he learned and... maybe get some approval from Master Van.

Luke had forced an agreement with his parents, one that had made his frail mother sick with worry. As soon as Luke came of age, he demanded to get away from the manor and attend a university. To be honest, it was no hidden fact that Luke had little-to-no interest in schooling, but it was the freedom he craved. Even then, his parents placed restrictions, only agreeing if Luke didn’t leave the campus. Luke wasn’t particularly aware of what was prestigious or not, didn’t particularly care either, and just flipped through universities until he found one he liked.
